Assist in the completion of our construction project and become a part of Guelph’s history
The Muslim Society of Guelph is hoping to expand their local involvement by building an extension to their vibrant community centre located on Water St. in Guelph. With these donations, we are aiming to build a fully accessible community building with rooms that can be utilized by any local group, a soccer field and jungle gym, more parking spaces for visitors, a community garden and a fully functional kitchen to continue providing meals for those in need in. The MSOG values diversity and civic engagement and we hope to build a center where the community can come together as a “unifying force.”
Give to the community fund for helping those in need within our community
Organizations like Hope House Guelph, Chalmers Community Centre and Guelph Food Bank provide services throughout the community to those in need through Food and Clothing Cupboards. Muslim families struggling to make ends meet also access these services and the MSOG strives to ensure that they are provided with Halal foods to help them through difficult times. By donating to this fund, you can help ensure that a struggling Muslim family has access to the halal food they require.
whether expecting a new baby or dealing with the illness of a loved one, the Guelph General Hospital is much needed service by all. To help ensure that we all have access to the best medical care, the MSOG has committed to contributing its share to help obtain patient care equipment. Your donation helps this fund for the Guelph General Hospital.
Donate to the creation of resources to combat Islamophobia
This fund will go towards the creation of resources and activities in Guelph which will promote anti-racism and anti-islamophobia. This fund will also be used to create a memorial garden for all those effected by Islamophobia.
Help the refugees arriving to Guelph by funding their resettlement and needs
The Refugee Life Line project was one of MSOG’s biggest projects over the last few years. Though it is not one of our active campaigns, we are still helping to support the many families that were resettled in Guelph during this time.
Since this campaign, MSOG in partnership with many other organizations and community leaders, helped facilitate the arrival and resettlement of hundreds of families since 2015.
Give a donation for the purpose of Zakat or Sadaqah
Help us to provide for the most vulnerable in our society; those living in extreme poverty . The money we raise will go towards food which will help feed the hungry, provide essential supplies for the destitute.
When you give to the Zakat & Sadaqah you are making a positive difference to the lives of people that are less fortunate.
